Neha (‘22) grew up fascinated with stargazing and loves that she can take that passion to a whole new level with the on-campus telescope. Neha also enjoys working directly with people, so she hopes to explore the intersection of medicine and space through aerospace medicine.

Alex (‘22) is very interested in space and its possibilities of advancing the scope of human knowledge and capabilities. Alex also loves photography and enjoys capturing the night sky, showcasing everything from the Milky Way to the recent solar eclipse.

Space Engineering Team Lead Gavin’s (‘21) interest in space from an early age eventually grew into a passion for astrophysics. Now a physics major with a minor in space science, Gavin enjoys working on every step of space mission design, from the science objectives to the physical assembly. |
JD ('23) fell in love with space in elementary school, after presenting a project on the Apollo 11 mission. Ever since, he has maintained an interest in exploring other celestial bodies. Coupled with a passion for debate and writing, JD has found his place in the JHU SEDS Policy Team. |
